Moving Phase 2 of 3
It's been a crazy whirlwind of events the last two weeks! We finished moving out of our Spokane home, signed the sales papers, and deep cleaned for the new owners. We also met the new owner since he wanted to do a walk--through with us to introduce him to the chickens (they are happily adopting our poultry pets!) and to show him various other things about the maintenance of the property. It is such a blessing to know that the place we called home for the last three years and the place that Jason poured hours of repairs and improvements in will be the new home of such a great family! At the same time, we were receiving information regarding the inspections and negotiating over our soon to be new home in Chillicothe, OH. It's been a bit of a challenging process since the real estate agent for the seller is brand new and has been a bit difficult to deal with but our agent has been amazing keeping the deal together - even staying up to midnight one night as we scrambled to reword and submit paper work on Saturday night.
We are now snugly settled into Bob and Barb Parks' downstairs, walk-out basement. We are so grateful for their generosity and hospitality. Our kitties have adjusted well and we are refreshed every time we look out the windows to the beautiful view and wildlife that frequently pass through their yard. Our prayers have been answered now that we have also been offered another home to stay in for a few days as we have a gap of time between the last available day at our current location and when we will be heading east.
Our current timeline (of course subject to change) is most likely the following:
Now -June 6th staying at Bob and Barb Parks'
June 6th - June 13th staying at Gary and Sherry Brooten's
June 14th - pull out of Spokane and drive to Adam and Sheena Rice's near Camp Bighorn in Montana
June 15th - 17th drive to Lancaster staying in hotels on the way for 2 nights, arrive in Chillicothe in the late afternoon to do a walk-through of our new home with our real estate agent and stay Sunday night with Glenn and Dee Luppold in Lancaster
June 18th - Sign purchase documents and take possession of our new home in Chillicothe!
Please pray for the following:
1) Lisa's health as she recovers from bronchitis and that she can finish the school year well
2) That the house deal for our new home will now go smoothly
3) For traveling safety this weekend as we travel to visit family in western WA
Thank you all for your prayers!
