Whirlwind of Blessings

Last week was a whirlwind of blessings! We borrowed Jason's parents' trailer and spent the week at Camp Morrow while Jason served as camp speaker for Junior High 2. It was so exciting to see many kids accept the Lord as their Savior when they heard the gospel message!! Ministering side-by-side with Jim Webb, Chris Hankel, and a few of the kids from New Hope Church (Morgan, Sheffie, Natalie, and McKenzie) was a huge blessing! Ryan was a cabin leader and Rachel helped in the kitchen. Lisa was able to have some time of refilling as she took long walks in the morning then worked on her application to grad school and prepare for the upcoming school year. After camp we traveled back to Allyn, WA to drop off the trailer and spent an afternoon visiting with family. On Sunday, we were able to visit Clatskanie Church, reconnect with old friends, make new ones, and share our ministry with InFaith. We were extremely blessed to be treated to lunch by good friends, Jim and Leona Gibson. It was so fun to reminisce with them, catch up and laugh. As we settle back into more of our normal routine this week we ask that you join us in prayer.

1) Lord, please draw those who invited you into their hearts close to you. We pray those kids who entered into a saving grace will be discipled and supported. We pray spiritual protection against the enemy over them. We pray that no one would be ashamed of the gospel. Rom. 1:16

2) We pray for what God intends for our support raising and prayer community building. We still have a very long way to go with support raising and little time for it to happen. We ask for faithfulness and trust on our part and for a few more people to commit to praying for us on a regular basis.

3) We pray for the upcoming transition for our family and for Northview.

Jason and I were both given this scripture this morning -

"'I am the Lord, your Holy One, the Creator of Isreal, your King.' Thus says the Lord, who makes a way in the sea, a path in the mighty waters." ~ Isaiah 43:15-16

Lord, let us get out of our own way to see your blessing. Let us see your blessing not in the way we've seen it before, but in a new way, a different way.
